We are located in the outback of northern AZ in the Juniper mountains. We live off the grid and have built our own straw bale house and work shop/studio, with a complete solar system for our power. Rolling Thunder started up back in 1992. Mack previously had two leather shops in Montana back in the 70's. After taking a few years off to discover other talents, leather was calling him back. Martha adds that special southwest flavor with her talented beadwork by creating new products and enhancing the deerskin jackets and vests. She also adds her beadwork to handbag straps, along with beaded belts, beaded dog collars and hatbands. Mack does all the leatherwork and Martha does all the beadwork. We are a company of two, with each piece hand crafted from beginning to end. All the jackets and vests are hand laced with hand cut fringe and twisting, using deer antler, sterling silver, or inlaid antler with gemstones for buttons. Our handbags have antler crowns or inlaid antler with gemstones for buttons. All beadwork is hand loomed using our own creative designs and patterns. We have received numerous awards at different art shows over the years. We take pride in our product with detail, and quality being our priority.
